In 2011, the Sinatra Development parent company Sinatra & Co. purchased the former Fenton Hotel at 945 W Ferry, a building constructed for guests of the Pan Am Exposition in 1901 for $700,000. With over 6500 square feet of commercial space and residential apartment homes, this $5 million dollar project was soon accompanied by the purchase of 1516 Main, 1524 Main, and 1526 Main and was named The Fenton Village. Residential apartment homes in the Fenton Village feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, refinished hardwood floors, in-unit washer/dryer, and pendant lights over the breakfast bar. Additionally, full exterior upgrades have been made, including replacing brick, replacing and repairing windows, painting the iconic cornices, and adding new glass to the commercial space.
